Inpatient (Hospital) Services
The Marian Centre (inpatient service) is a participating provider with both

. These agreements ensure that as a member of either Medibank Private or HBF, your only gaps are agreed within your cover.
The Marian Centre is in the process of negotiating Hospital Purchaser-Providers Agreements (HPPA) with the health funds listed below. The Marian Centre does not, as yet, have contracts with these funds. Until agreements are in place gap payments for these funds will be minimally more than your contracted gaps.
It is advised that all patients contact their health fund and the Centre for confirmation of your coverage.
The Marian Centre was approved by The Delegate of the Minister for Health and Ageing to receive Second Tier Default Benefits as recommended by the Second Tier Advisory Committee at its meeting on 13 February 2007.
Consultations
Please note that the private clinical consultations for outpatient services are not covered by any of the health funds.
Inpatient consultations may be partially or fully covered by Medicare and your private health fund. If you are entitled to Medicare rebates, a substantial portion of the consultation fee will be covered by Medicare. Please check with our reception staff at The Marian Centre West Perth about the specific consultation fees for individual clinical practitioners.
